Pentagon Motor Group are looking to recruit a Yard Person to work with the fantastic team at our West Hallam based Fleet department.
This role will see you assist in the effective and efficient movement of all vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are checked inbound and outbound as well as making safety a top priority!

What will you be doing?
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensuring that vehicles are moved to and from the compound, Workshops and Transporter in the required timescales.
- Completing a thorough inspection on all new vehicles delivered to site.
- Reporting on any missing or damaged parts through the correct processes.
- Managing the location of vehicles; making sure vehicles are parked securely within the compound and recording the locations and key details to support this.
- Effectively managing the storage area to reduce over-flow parking costs.
- Working in a way that minimizes accidents and damage to property/vehicles.
- Adhering to Health and Safety policies at all times.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a full, UK Manual driving licence.
- Be able to work on their own initiative, reacting quickly and reasonably.
- Be well organized and methodical.
- Have a good eye for detail.
- Demonstrate a team player mentality.
- Possess good communication skills.
