Job Introduction
Pentagon Motor Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warranty & Manufacturer Standards Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for visiting our various dealerships to conduct warranty audits and ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer warranty guidelines, and regulatory standards. You will also support SEAT dealerships by assisting with their standards audits. Additionally, you will help manage the storage and disposal of archiving job cards, documents, and paperwork.
This role will require you to work closely with dealership management teams to maintain high standards of warranty administration and compliance. The Warranty & Manufacturer Standards Auditor will report directly to the Group Aftersales Director and play a key role in supporting the aftersales operations across the group.
Salary - Upto £36000 DOE , plus company vehicle and great company benefits
Hours of work - - 8.30am - 5.30pm - Mon - Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Warranty Audits:
- Conduct regular warranty audits at Pentagon Motor Group dealerships to ensure compliance with manufacturer policies and standards.
- Identify and address any discrepancies or non-compliance issues, and work with the management team to implement corrective actions.
- Provide feedback and support to dealership staff to help improve warranty processing and compliance.
- Manufacturer Standards Audits (SEAT):
- Assist and support SEAT dealerships with their standards audits, ensuring adherence to all brand guidelines.
- Provide guidance to SEAT dealerships on meeting manufacturer requirements and quality standards.
- Report any areas of concern and offer solutions to meet or exceed SEAT’s audit criteria.
Documentation and Archiving:
- Oversee the storage and proper disposal of archived job cards, documents, and paperwork in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure that all documentation is appropriately filed and accessible for future reference or audits.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all audits, actions taken, and outcomes.
- Report regularly to the Group Aftersales Director on audit findings, compliance status, and any potential areas of risk.
- Build and maintain relationships with dealership management teams, offering advice and support as necessary.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
· Experience:
- Previous experience in warranty auditing, aftersales, or a similar compliance-related role within the automotive industry is highly desirable.
- Experience working with VAG or knowledge of manufacturer standards auditing would be an advantage.
- Attention to Detail:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies, non-compliance, and areas for improvement.
·Communication Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with dealership management and staff.
- Ability to explain technical audit requirements and compliance standards clearly.
- Organisational Skills:
- Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively manage audits, document storage, and disposal responsibilities.
IT Skills:
- Proficient in using computer systems, spreadsheets, and documentation management software.
