What Will You Be Doing?
Main responsibilities of the role include to:
- Use the bank statements to identify customer accounts and corresponding remittance advices for BACS payments received daily.
- To write up cash sheets using Excel for all BACS, card, cash and cheque receipts.
- To post and accurately allocate all receipts into Kerridge using the cash sheets.
- To raise internal journals (IDJV) to retrieve or recharge other regions for money received..
- To maintain cash sales and vehicle debtor accounts to ensure invoices and payments on accounts are cleared to agreed timescales.
- To liaise with credit control to maintain and control unallocated cash.
- To raise documents relating to Warranty transactions and allocate in relation to warranty claims.
- To post sundry nominal ledger journals as required.
- To assist other team members with Ad-hoc duties and provide cover where necessary.
Who Are We Looking for?
Successful candidates will:
- Have previous accounts / cashier experience
- Demonstrate strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Possess the ability to multi task and problem solve
- Perform well under pressure and deadlines
- Show an excellent eye for detail
- Have good IT software skills
- Demonstrate an excellent team player mentality
Working hours - Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5pm.
